Severn was built in Arnside by Crossfields in 1912 for the Royal Mersey Yacht Club. Between 2022 and 2026 she was restored by David Moss Boatbuilders at Skippool near Blackpool at the cost of £160,000 with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, other grants, donations and fund raising events.
