The £150,000 restoration has been funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Garfield Weston Trust, Headley Trust, Arnside Silverdale Grant Fund, Barnes Trust, Cumbria Community Foundation, donations and fundraising events. She should be back on the water this summer after her four year restoration
Severn was built in 1912 by Crossfields of Arnside.. She is one of ten Rivers Class yachts built by them for the Royal Mersey Yacht Club.
