Arnside Maritime Singing Festival raises £613 for RNLI
The Arnside Maritime Singing Festival on Sat 28 Aug raised £613 for the Morecambe Lifeboat Stations

The festival featured indoor performances in the Sailing Club and outdoor singing on the Promenade and Pier by sea shanty groups. Shanty crews performing included Lytham St Annes, Sunderland Point, Mizzen Crew from Morecambe and All@Sea from South Lakeland. Individual acts include Tom Perry, Bill Pook, Kath Reade, Lawrence Hoy and LocTup Together. All outstanding traditional song performers.
The festival was arranged by John Metcalfe on behalf of the Sailing Club
With sun shining over the estuary it was a lovely day, especially when two boats came up at high tide. We plan repeating the Festival next year.
