An event for traditional sailing boats with launching from Arnside Promenade. A chance to sail in the scenic estuary in Arnside overlooked by the Lakeland Fells. Both Arthur Ransome’s Swallow and Coch-y-bonddhu were built in Arnside by Crossfields, who also built Morecambe Bay Prawners, yachts and other boats. In 2022, Hearts of Oak a 34 foot Morecambe Bay Prawner came up for the event.
There is a concert by “Those Folks”, a magical Australian – American folk duo. on Friday evening in the Sailing Club Tickets £12 https://ascclubhouse.co.uk/event/those-folk/ Our clubhouse bar will be open after sailing on Saturday.
