The Sailing Club has been awarded a grant of £650 by 3R Foundation in Carnforth to buy new children's helmets, buoyancy aids and cagoules to help support our youth programme.
3R Foundation run a charity shop in Carnforth. which is located near Tesco. Profits from the shop are used to offer grants to local charities, clubs and groups. 3R stands for Recycle, Reuse and Rehome.
A second objective of the charity is to change people’s perception of charity shops. They aim to make their store imodern, bright, clean and welcoming.
