Simon Armitage, the Poet Laureate and his rock band LYR are to make a return visit to the Sailing Club on Friday 7th October. They liked playing at the Sailing Club so much they are coming back for a second time. LYR sets the Poet Laureate’s spoken vocals to music from singer-songwriter Richard Walters and multi- instrumentalist and producer Patrick Pearson backed by visual graphics.
