Our Try Out Day on Sunday 29th May 2022 attracted over 70 people, including families. Conditions were near prefect with a dry weather and gentle breeze with nine boats taking people out across the estuary. The event was part of the RYA’s Discover Sailing promotion with clubs throughout the country offering people a chance to Try Sailing. Our Clubhouse in the Old Customs House overlooking the estuary was open from 12 noon.
Thank you to all club volunteers and instructors who made the day possible. Everybody we spoke to said how much they enjoyed the event.
