1st Aid Course

Peter Cunningham from 1st Aid Cumbria led a very comprehensive and enjoyable 1st aid course in the club house. Participants were schooled in a variety of procedures including Stoke, Heart Attack, Defibrillator use, Seizure, Unconsciousness, Choking, and Loss of Blood.

The club is now taking bookings for our 2019 Adult Training Programme. We are offering two day beginner and improver courses at Killington, near Sedbergh. Crossfields of Arnside were leading builders of yachts and Morecambe Bay Prawners from 1840s to 1940s. Around 40 of their boats survive including Severn, which the Sailing Club brought with a Heritage Lottery Grant in 2018.
